About Us:
ABOUT US:
At Michele's daycare we provide a loving, educational day for your children. Our child to teacher ratio is always no more than 6:1. We provide a safe large back yard which is fully fenced and ready to keep the kids active, play in the water, ride bikes, play in the sand, etc.. We enjoy going for walks in the neighborhood or spend time at local playgrounds. Indoor fun also consists of books, coloring, music, blocks, art projects even an indoor jump house for rainy days! Television is limited and all equipment is age appropriate to the age groups in care. Our childcare meets the needs of infants - toddlers - school age children, by providing them with the opportunity to promote sounds and growth in a period of rapid development for each child.
We ask that the parents/guardians keep respectful, open communication with us. If your child has gotten to bed late, has had a challenging morning or any other problems that might require special attention, please let one of us know prior to arriving or at drop off. Feel free to discuss their progress, activities and or any issues If at any time you have questions or concerns related to your child’s care, please contact us right away. It is important that you and your child feel comfortable with the care we are providing.
Meet the Teachers
Michele (Owner):
My name is Michele and I am the owner of Michele's Daycare. I was licensed from April 1998 to December 2002. In 2002, I decided to take a leave from working and help my husband launch his business. I reopened my daycare again in 2011 and am excited to teach and ensure the best care possible for your child. I am a mother of three, who understands the needs and concerns of parents. My goal is to encourage the physical, social, and beginning academic and emotional development. My philosophy is based on love and respect for each child and family. When I am not working, my husband and I enjoy to travel, watch the Giants and spend time with family.
Tori:
My name is Tori and I am Michele's eldest daughter. I have been apart of the daycare since the relaunch in 2011. I received my AA in child development from Canada College in 2014 and my BA in Business Administration from Brandman University. I have always had a love for children and watching them grow up. I enjoy doing arts and crafts with the kiddos and implementing curriculum. Currently I have another full time job so I handle more of the behind the scenes for the daycare. But whenever I can I like to get out there hangout with the kids, and do a project. In my spare time, I enjoy shopping, watching the Giants, and going on a light run or hike.
Amanda:
My name is Amanda and I am Michele's youngest daughter. I currently attend Aragon High School and will graduate in 2018. I love working with kids and have been helping out on my days off from school since we opened Michele's daycare. When I graduate high school I plan to go to a 4 year university and become a pediatric doctor. When I am not at school or with the kids, I enjoy hanging out with friends and playing softball.
